Privacy Policy

Learnology ("we", "us") operates learnologyschool.org, an AI-powered math learning platform. This policy explains what information we handle and how.

Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign up, your name and email are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). We do not currently operate a server-side account database.
• Learning data. Your curriculum, lesson progress, quiz scores, generated content, and preferences are stored locally in your browser so you can resume where you left off.
• Uploaded materials. Files you upload (notes, syllabi) are read in your browser. Relevant text excerpts are sent to our AI providers solely to generate your personalized curriculum and study guides.
• College counseling information (Premium). If you use the College Counselor, the profile details, documents, and essay drafts you provide are stored under your account and sent to our AI providers to generate feedback. Do not upload government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or medical records. You can clear uploaded files at any time from within the Counselor, and clearing your browser data removes locally stored copies.

AI Processing

Lesson content, quizzes, tutoring responses, videos, and grading are generated by third-party AI services acting as our processors, including Groq (language model inference) and ElevenLabs (voice narration). Prompts you submit (for example, tutor questions or project submissions) are transmitted to these services to produce the response. We do not sell this data.

Advertising & Cookies

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Third-party vendors' use of advertising cookies enables ad serving based on your browsing; see how Google uses advertising data.

Children's Privacy

Learnology is intended for students aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Retention & Your Choices

Because account and learning data live in your browser's localStorage, you can erase them at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings. AI providers retain request data according to their own policies.

We may update this policy as the product evolves; the effective date above will change accordingly.
